History
The building represents a unique construction boasting on the one hand its magnificent facades of the end of the 19th century in the style of “Classicism”, and on the other hand its totally state-of-the-art interior layout and finishing.
The building is distinguished by exceptionally advantageous location in the historical part of Saint-Petersburg which for centuries has been the most prestigious business and cultural district of the northern capital, where Nevsky Prospect passes through Malaya Morskaya Street.
The Baron Weimer mansion was built in 1768-1770 based on the design of the renowned architect A.V.Kvasov and organically fit into the Nevsky Prospect ensemble built according to the principle of unity of fa?ade and elevational solutions justly belonging to the valued architectural monuments.
